Refrigeration/Ice Makers
The refrigerator and freezer are two of the most important appliances in your kitchen. They store food and beverages, keeping them fresh and ready to eat or cook. These appliances can be used to store food for short term or long term
What is the difference between Ice Makers and Ice Machines?
In short, the functionality.
Ice Makers bring water in, freezes into cubes, and releases them into an ice bucket. The product acts as a freezer to keep the ice cold and does not make more until it senses the ice bucket is low.
Ice Machines require a drain and are a bit more complex. Ice Machines freeze water in layers. Once a clear ice cube is formed, it is released into the ice bin. The ice bin acts as a cooler to ensure cubes remain clear.
Nugget Ice Machines freeze water behind the scenes and an auger rotates against the ice to produce ice shavings. The ice shavings are then compacted into a cylindrical cube and are transported to the ice bin. Nugget Ice Machine bins also acts as a cooler to ensure the cubes are separated and easy to scoop.
